  • Create a new account by filling in your personal details
  • Make a qualifying deposit and bet

There are a few T&Cs that apply but it’s nothing that’s going to trip you up here and it’s all fairly basis stuff. These include, you must be over 18 years old to play and your payment method – ie debit card – must be registered to the same name as your Ladbrokes player account.

The Ladbrokes welcome bonus can only be secured using the promo code but the deal itself is regularly updated to ensure it remains in line with the market and competitive against the competition. An example might be a matched bet or enhanced bet such as bet £10 get £30 in free bet tokens.

Betting markets

Ladbrokes sportsbook have all your favourites covered, and plenty more besides. Make your call on all the top football divisions and markets from around the world including Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Champions League and World Cup. Horse racing fans have UK, Irish, German, French, South African, American and more. Race winner, exacta, trifecta, Lucky 15s and Yankees.

Away from the two most popular sports in betting you can also wager on greyhounds, tennis, boxing, cricket, snooker, darts and rugby. The coverage is impressive, as is the number of markets on offer, including winner, first scorer, round betting, set betting, each-way, outright and correct score. All the biggest competitions are covered – both ante-post and game-by-game – and there’s lots from the lesser known tournaments too.

Live betting and streaming

Betting is now as exciting during the match as it was before the start thanks to Ladbrokes live betting and streaming. The in-play – or live betting – markets cover all mainstream sports, but we think it works best with football. Here’s why…

Make plans to watch the afternoon’s live match and get your bets on the action, backing your views on who will win, who will score first or even what the final score will be. Then the match kicks off and you’re left to cheer home your bets – for as long as they are live. But what if your bet goes down early in the contest? Perhaps you envisaged a close match and had a 0-0 draw but there was an early error and goal. Your enjoyment is over – or is it?

No. With in play betting you can go back in at any point during play and a bet is as exciting in the last 10 minutes as it was before the start. The prices are constantly being updated to match the flow of play, including match odds, total goals, handicap and final score. Keep your eye on the prices and if you spot a bit of value – jump on.

You don’t even need to have placed a pre-match bet to get in, of course. You could wait and see how things play out in the early exchanges before making your mind up. If when watching the match unfold you spot a player going close, a team on the attack or a nervy looking defender, bet in-play on first goal scorer, team to score the first goal or a man to be sent off. If you’ve got an expert eye why not put it to good use.

Speaking of watching the match, you can take advantage of Ladbrokes stunning live streaming service. Check out the site for the day’s schedule and you’ll find which sports games are covered. The quality is top class with no lags or buffering and you have everything in one place. Watch the game live, bet in-play, get players stats and check scores from other ties. Bet on any UK and Irish horse race and you can watch live on your desktop, mobile or tablet. As long as you have a good internet connection you can turn any situation into a chance to bet on and watch live sport.

Virtual games

Have you placed a bet on virtual sports yet? It really does have to be seen to be believed. It doesn’t have the greatest rep amongst seasoned gamblers but the graphics and quality means it’s incredibly realistic, especially the horse racing and you’ll be looking twice before deciding if it’s a virtual or real life race.

The main appeal of virtual betting is it can be played 24/7 and is great if you fancy a small interest between races or sporting events to fill the gap. All major sports are covered besides horse racing. There’s football, dogs, tennis, basketball and F1 to name a few. Check out the site for more details. You can even use your Ladbrokes promo code and welcome bonus on virtual sports.

Virtual racing takes place every three minutes and the view is jaw-dropping. Bet on a host of tracks, horses, trainers and even jockeys and if you’ve landed a winner on one you can stick with them each time you bet. Change camera angles to make it more realistic, shifting from trackside to jockey view.

Ladbrokes games

Click on the games tab at the top of the desktop homepage and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the options available. There’s a full catalogue of games here and they are split up into handy sections to help you pick your favourite. Choose between most popular, jackpots, video poker, arcade, scratchcards, card games and more. Like virtual, you can stick to what has brought you luck in the past or try your hand at something different.

The games are always being updated and added to so they are fresh and competitive in the industry so it’s worth visiting the site to find the latest offering. Some of the most popular titles currently available are…

European Roulette, Perfect Pairs, Starburst, Reel King, Reel King Potty, Lucky Lady’s Charm, Ultimate Keno, Book of Ra, Sizzling Hot Deluxe, Gonzo’s Quest, Tutankhamun, Pyramid quest for immortality, Dolphins Pearl and Balls.

Mobile app

Android users can download the Ladbrokes app to devices including HTC One, HTC Legend and HTC Sensation or it can also be accessed on iphone, blackberry, Samsung and more. Check the app store for more details or for reviews from everyday users.

The app is easy to install, quick, reliable with a simple lay-out that allows you to find and bet on your favourite sports markets in a few clicks. It’s all about betting on the go and it’s obvious Ladbrokes programmers understand that. They don’t want you becoming frustrated trying to find your market so everything is there on the home screen including the most popular sports as well as live betting. In testing we were able to bet on the next horse race going off in under a minute. It’s then time to sit back and follow your punt on the live stream.

What we found great about the app – as well as the fact it’s fast, easy to install and use and it had all the markets of the full site – was the fact you could sign-up for a new account using the Ladbrokes promo code, get and use your welcome offer. That means there’s no need to put off registering any longer as it can be done on the commute to work, on the sofa or your lunch break.

Mobile betting is becoming the most popular way to punt due to the convenience. No need to get to a betting shop, home computer or laptop. Whip out your mobile and you’re ready to have your say on anything and everything. The future has landed.

Payment options

As you may have already guessed, it’s all about choice with Ladbrokes at every turn – putting you in charge – and the options available to add funds or withdraw winnings is no different. There’s lots of ways to move money in and out of your account. Select your currency and then which method you prefer, this can be changed at a later date to suit. Here are some of the options…

  • Credit or debit card
  • Paypal
  • Bank transfer
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Sofort
  • Paysafecard
  • Giropay
  • Ideal

Be sure to read the full T&Cs attached to each before making your decision as a range of transfer times apply and there may even be charges applied for using some. We’ve picked out the highlights below…

Some Ladbrokes promo codes can’t be used on certain ewallets due to past members abusing the system, double check this to be safe. The usual transfer times for credit and debit cards are 3-5 working days for winnings to show up in your account but uploads are always instant meaning you can bet with your deposits straight away. Ewallets, such as Paypal are much quicker, hence they are becoming more popular. Uploads are instant, as are withdrawals and you could have the money in your account in a matter of minutes. It’s worth remembering though that some third parties add a handling charge at the other end.

Customer service

Get in contact with the Ladbrokes team by free phone, email, social media or live chat. The waiting times are minimal, but the latter is our favourite as it’s often instant. Type your question or query into the conversation box and a member of the friendly, well-trained team will respond in a similar fashion.

There’s also the option, if you don’t have time to speak to someone or explain your position, to use the FAQs section to find an answer. Here you have just about every question you could ask – broken down into categories – with an in-depth answer. We’ve given a few examples of how this works below but you can check the site and have a look for yourself, you don’t have to be a member.

Live casino

With Ladbrokes live casino you get the full experience of a visit to the casino without leaving your own home. It’s similar to the games section of the site we touched on earlier, but it’s played through a live feed against other real-life players and attractive dealers.

Some of the games available are Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Hi-Lo and Hold-Em. There’s a unique casino bonus here than can be acquired using the Ladbrokes promo code and it’s designed to grant you a feel for the site without posing too much of a risk to your own funds. Once you’ve learned the ropes and are confident you can go back in.

Ladbrokes membership

As the name suggests, Ladbrokes offer a membership scheme that’s there to reward their loyal customers. During a time when many players are moving from shop to online, The Grid helps bridge the gap. There are a number of benefits including bonuses that are sent to your phone via SMS and football coupons open only to members.

The best feature however is the ability to pick up your online winnings in store. We spoke earlier about the various ways to speed up transfer times between winning and getting your hands on the cash. This is perfect. If you’ve landed an online winner you can walk into any Ladbrokes betting office, present your card and get cash handed across the counter. It works both ways too. If you are in town with no internet access you can pop into the bookies, hand the cashier money and they will add it to your online account.

Ladbrokes review

We’re sure you’ll agree that Ladbrokes has something for everyone – from sports to live casino – and they put a real emphasis on giving you choice, putting you in charge of how you bet, when you bet and what you bet on.

The odds are very fair indeed – check any price comparison site for proof of this – the live streaming is to such a high standard it leaves most of the competition in the shade and the mobile site allows you to bet on the move. The in-play platform is decent, but we must say it could be better with some firms offering more markets. That’s something they’ll need to work on.

What is cash out?

The Cash Out facility allows you to settle your bet before the market/event you bet on has been completed. This lets you secure a profit or minimise your losses if your selection is doing well or badly. The bet will be settled at the Cash Out price which is different to the original price you took; this is calculated using a formula relating to the price at the time of the bet and the price at the time of the request to cash out.

What is #Getaprice?

You pick it. We Price it.

When will my bet be settled?

At Ladbrokes, we endeavour to settle all markets as soon as we can. We normally settle horse markets soon after the result is known, and football within a short time of the match finishing.

For all the markets we offer, it is very important that we seek proper and official confirmation and correct results at all times. To this end, we often check a number of different sources. If these sources differ, there may be a slight delay while we seek confirmation of the official result.

Bet settlements may be delayed during busy periods, such as between 4.45pm and 5.15pm on a Saturday when hundreds of markets are being settled at the same time.

If you have checked your bet and it remains unsettled for more than 2 hours after the result is known, please contact us and we can investigate this for you. Please ensure you check the banner above in case of any settlement delays.
